Oh…overdue post :p
Saw this new place while they were renovating last year. Decided to go and try with JL last week during lunch. Initially, it’s one of our choice for Xmas lunch last year. I’m actually quite glad we didn’t. But it’s still too early to say as the restaurant is still quite new. They just opened in November last year, not really known yet? Everytime when we walked pass, there’s only like 1 or 2 table of customers inside…
I love the interior of Tosh Restaurant, mainly black & white. There’s only like about 8 tables of up to 4 seatings. Kinda cozy, to me.
Food wise, a mix of western cuisines with Asian styles/flavours… Other than All-Day Breakfast dishes, there’s pastas, steak, and DESSERTS :p Well, it’s a pity we didn’t get to try the desserts, it’s lunch afterall, wouldn’t want to have such heavy lunch. Shall try it next time.
JL ordered some Chicken Creamy Pasta.
First thing that came into my mind when the dish came was – “CREAM?? WHERE”? Hm…I tried a mouth, ok, it does taste creamy, but not as creamy as the way she likes or even I don’t think he’ll like this type too. Maybe is the Chef’s style?
I’ve ordered some Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken.
Looks nice. First thing I went for is Fries…erm…quite disappointing – cold and soggy. Chicken was alright but not sure is it because it’s Chicken Thigh that’s why it’s so oily? Overall, couldn’t taste any Honey Mustard, it’s a little bit sweet and slightly undercook as there’s some “blood” oozing out when I pressed with the knife. Side salad is nice, with a bit of citrus taste which actually ease a bit of the oiliness.

I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t go back totally. I’d love to try their other dishes and their desserts. I think they do have set lunch menu – main course & drinks at S$8.90 (If I remember correctly :p).
