Have always wanted to try the dim sum at Tim Ho Wan but the queue was way too long. Queuing for more than 1hr for a meal is too much for me…and my friends definitely have no patience to join me as well. Think the longest waiting time I waited was the dinner at Itacho Sushi with the gang. Think the wait was about 40mins and luckily I had JL with me.
Finally, the wait is over. Since boyfriend and I were on leave, we decided to grab the chance to dine at Tim Ho Wan as the queue should be short at odd hours. GOOD GOOD…he he he… Reached there at about 4plus, there’s already a queue but thankfully it wasn’t long. We only waited for about half an hour or so…lucky lucky…he he he…
Sigh…sad thing that we ate earlier at the S.E.A. Aquarium, haven’t digest the fish & chips and chicken wings…URGH…. Tempted to order all the 4 Must-Haves items, but tummy really too full… Here’s what we ordered:
Congee with Lean Pork, Century Egg & Salted Egg
Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce
Prawn Dumplings & Siew Mai (They came separately, just that we put them together to save space)
Vermicelli Roll with Pig’s Liver
Baked Bun with BBQ Pork
Personally, I love the porridge, Prawn Dumplings, Baked Bun with BBQ Pork. The baked bun is best eaten hot. I loved the Char Siew sauce that ooze out and the sweet crispy crust.
Wahahaha…a super close up of the bun
Boyfriend loved the Vermicelli Roll with Pig’s Liver. Well, it is smoothed, but the taste is too “liver” for me…he he he…
Thought of buying the Baked Bun home for his parents to try but guessed it will not be nice then. Maybe, should arrange a day to bring them to the restaurant to try it hot.
