Oh, I didn’t realise I’ve missed the hardcopy version of SingTel’s fold-a-heart campaign. JL sent me a link one day, and it leads to SingTel’s fold-a-heart website where I can “fold” a heart online by simply making few clicks. Cool isn’t it?
The SingTel Touching Lives Fund was launched in 2002, aimed to help the disadvantaged children and young people in Singapore. With the “Fold-a-Heart” activity, every origami heart received, SingTel will donate S$1 to the following beneficiaries:
- APSN Chaoyang School
- APSN Tanglin School
- Eden School
- MINDS Lee Kong Chian Gardens School
- Singapore Cancer Society-Help the Children & Youth Programme
- Spastic Children’s Association School
As this year is the 11th year, the aim is to raise more than S$2million for them.
Well, since I’ve missed the hardcopy, I’m glad that there’s an online version. There isn’t a limit how many hearts one can submit :p And also, I can share it with my friends and family overseas, they are able to do their part for charity by going to the website, click to “fold” and submit a heart. There’s a counter to let you know how many hearts have been submitted. Great!
I’ve just folded mine, have you?
