Initially planned to go to the new Robinsons in Orchard on Saturday, but it’s already 4plus in the afternoon by the time we are ready to go out. Since we went to Tampines instead as it’s nearer to home too. Was craving for Steamboat but went Manhattan Fish Market instead. Hm…things don’t usually go according to plans…ha ha ha ha…
Stewed Tomato Mussels – $7.95
A serving of stewed mussels in a rich tomato herb sauce with baguette for dipping
Love the dish. And was quite surprised that they didn’t serve this dish together with an empty side plate for putting the empty shells. I thought that’s a usual practice? Or maybe I should put those empty shells on the table? :S
Scallops Fish Chicken – $17.95
Enjoy a serving of finely grilled chicken, crispy fish fingers and fried scallops, served with a helping of our Garlic Herb rice, chips and veggies.
Ha ha ha…he had a hard time finishing this… I ate the veggies, he finished the chips and rice…amazing.
Vongole Ole – $13.95
Get a taste of this simply clam-tastic spaghetti showered in a blend of flavorful and fragrant rosemary.
Hm…will still prefer those with white wine sauce. But it’s still yummy and most importantly, the clams were thoroughly cleaned. No grains or sand… Ordered this as a set, so it came with a drink and soup of the day ~ Cream of Tomato… Surprisingly, it taste nice… Boyfriend not a tomato person and he likes it too…
Cream of Tomato
There are so many yummy starters, were so tempted to order the cheese fries. Luckily we didn’t. Ha ha ha… There are also some great promotions available, do take your time to check out some great deals.
Love the framed designs on the wall and the environment. Looks cozy.
The bill was about $50plus. Went to the counter, then realise that there’s a 30% discount on all regular pasta portions for Watsons Card holders. Cool! I ended paying around $48… The discount is valid till 31 March 2014 and it’s for dine-in only.
