Well, because I can be very forgetful sometimes, Missy messaged me on Tuesday night, reminding me about the dinner date yesterday. Oh my, and I really forgotten all about it. Luckily, I didn’t make any other arrangements. A wanna eat something light, so Missy made reservation at Crystal Cafe @ Orchard Grand Court Hotel, for their Taiwan Porridge Buffet. Sounds good isn’t it, really sounds light. And I seriously gotta go on diet, have been putting on weight 🙁
A and I reached at about 720pm, but Missy was delayed at work. A and I started eating slowly, while waiting for her… The restaurant has been around for 10 yrs and still maintaining the cozy yet laid back ambience. There’s a decent spread of choices and my favorites are available, eg. Canned Pickles, Braised Peanuts, Salted Egg. Ha ha ha…A found it amusing that I’m actually contented with these. Well, they are really nice, especially with Porridge. You can never go wrong with these. Other dishes includes Vegetables, Duck, Fish, Steam Egg, Braised Eggs & Meat, Braised Pig Trotters, Mui Choy with Pork Belly, Fruits, Nonya Kueh, etc. Oh, sorry, forgot to take picture of the food station…

M came at 9, intend to fetch Missy home after dinner. We are not rushing off and still happily chatting. He couldn’t resist the food and it’s so cheap! So he had his late dinner @ 9plus. Oh my, he really can eat lo… Had porridge, bee hoon and rice…ha ha ha… We jokingly asked Missy if he put on weight lately. Had a nice chat with them and we went home at around 10plus. All of us gotta work the next day…
Oh, and I got this lovely pressie from A!!!!
