Had lunch with partners at Tung Lok Signatures Restaurant at VivoCity. Hm…I’m just following, he he he…not sure who suggested the place. But definitely a good suggestion :p Apparently, they served signature dishes of other restaurants under Tung Lok group in here. Been there once and loved their food. The place was brightly lit (maybe because they had full length windows panels) and with wonderful view of the waterfront.
He he he… It was my first time meeting their boss. My colleagues met them during the week when I was in HK. From the conversation, it seems that he frequent the place and can even call some staffs by their name. He looks young, but have been in the industry for 13yrs…impressed. My boss said he’s probably few yrs older than us.
Shall not digress much…here’s the food!!!!
Roast Meat
Deep Fried Fish Skin
Yummy. There’s a layer of salted egg over it. The salted egg texture and taste were similar to those on Salted Egg Crab
Stewed Duck Tongues
Stir Fry Rice Rolls (Cheong Fun)
Carrot Cake
Prawn Dumpling (Har Gow) & Siew Mai
He highly recommended the Chilli Crab and ordered 1 for us to try. Wah seh…Chilli Crab for lunch… I had it once and it’s really different from the Chilli Crabs outside. It’s spicy and a little bit sour, which is quite appetizing. Yummy Yummy…oh man, was craving for Chilli Crab after that…
Probably due to it’s location, ambience and view, Tung Lok Signatures is quite suitable for business lunches. Quite atas[1] :p Not sure if other days are like this, but I think it’s quite quiet and not rowdy. I LIKE!
