Dinner @ Jack’s Place (Century Square)

Worked from home today, right eye was swollen 🙁  Went to the doctor, applied medication but doesn’t seem to work effectively.  I guess will have to go to another doctor if the problem persists.

Anyways, his mom had Jack’s Place voucher, so together with his Aunts, Cousins & Family, we went to the Jack’s Place @ Century Square for dinner.  Slightly off-track, didn’t know that Jack’s Place started in 1966…  Wow!  Anyways, we had dinner in Jack’s Place a few times, but first time in that outlet.  Seems quiet, probably is a weekday.  Looked through the menu, not sure what to order.  The staff was patient with us while taking our orders.  We actually took sometime to decide, so the ordering was done in batches 😛  Didn’t order steak, as his family members don’t eat beef 🙁  Tried their steak once, actually it’s quite juicy, tender and nicely done.

I ordered Slipper Lobster & Chicken Combo which suppose to come in Sizzling hotplate, but it’s not sizzling when it’s served 🙁  He ordered Venison & Slipper Lobster Combo (non hotplate).  Most of the main course served with Baked Potato, which is one of my favorites 😀  Other orders includes Jack’s Seafood Salad, his favorite Escargots in Shell, Mushroom Soup, Spaghetti, Caesar Salad with Breaded Chicken.

Main course at less than S$25.00, Salad around S$13.00, Escargots S$9.50, Mushroom Soup S$4.50, Spaghetti S$13.00, etc.  Prices are quite reasonable for a decent restaurant.  Not a bad place for Family Dinner, with that homely atmosphere.

Overall:  ♥♥♥♥♥
