Should have ordered the Hashima dessert. Both the Mango Sago and Chendol were kinda rich and filling after the dinner. Tried a small mouth of the Mango Sago as there was milk in it. Wonder why.
Oh, we ordered Hor Fun too (highly recommended by Je). It was really good. There’s a bit of the charred taste, the so call “Wok Hei”[1] (鑊氣) I suppose…he he he….
Staffs were friendly, service was good. Or maybe it’s because that T was one of their regular customer? ha ha ha… T managed to get a room for us (because there wasn’t any small table available outside). I was told that you need to spend at least $500 to dine in a room. The staffs walked in a few times to change our plates…felt that I didn’t eat much each time they cleared. It’s always empty. Ha ha ha… T ordered this Glutinous Rice Pu-Er tea (糯米普洱). It’s very nice. I thought it smells a bit like Pandan Leaves, but Je said it was Glutinous Rice. Quite refreshing… If you have the chance, do give it a try…
