As you may already know, I’m working in Chinatown. Whenever the place is nicely decorated and lit up, you will know that Chinese New Year is just round the comer. Thought they were still constructing, didn’t expect to see the Goat-theme design lite up last Friday. Personally, I think the decoration this year is nicer than last year’s :p 3 huge goats in front, with a lot more smaller ones behind. If you look carefully, some has motorised head that will lower their head to mimic grazing. Interesting.
Think can’t see the goat, I’ll try to take some day shots tomorrow.
Official Light Up and Opening Ceremony will take place on 31 Jan 2015. To find out what’s happening at Chinatown this CNY, you can visit Chinatown Festival’s website at http://chinatownfestivals.sg/.
Time to prepare for the Chinese New Year. Boyfriend’s mom will always buy some wall decorations for the house. This year she bought some cute cushions too.

His dad bought abalone as we will be having steamboat on New Year’s Eve. Oh man…what should I get for them this year? New year goodies, maybe. His mom just bought an air-fryer last month, boyfriend and I are thinking if we should make air-fried crab sticks :p It’s selling about $10-$15 per container. -_-“‘ Shall try to make some!
Boyfriend bought some tops from Qoo10…oh my…time to shop for mine! Time is running out.
