Boyfriend and I were clearing our annual leave, so I suggested going to the S.E.A. Aquarium on Boxing Day, 26 Dec 2013… from the last experience, it’s better that we leave home early. I woke boyfriend up at 8+ so that we can reach Vivocity by 10am to avoid the crowd…he he he…but apparently, we were not early enough…ha ha ha…it’s already quite crowded at the Sentosa Express station…
I didn’t see any proper queues or dividers around, unlike the last time when I came with my HK friend, there’s dividers, ushers guiding the visitors where to queue… Maybe it wasn’t a Public Holiday, so they didn’t expect the crowd? Anyways, managed to squeeze into the 2nd train and managed to reached the aquarium safely, despite of some pushing here and there…

Before we enter the S.E.A. Aquarium, you will see this long passageway where there’s exhibits/products/food of India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc. Didn’t manage to take pictures as it’s crowded here… Take a walk in here, go down the escalator and you will come to the entrance of the S.E.A. Aquarium. Enjoy your walk…

S.E.A. Aquarium provides a 90minute guided tour where their Marine Guides will guide you through the aquarium, sharing the wonders of the blue seas. You will get to learn more about the amazing marine animals and the habitats. You can sign up at the Ticket Booth or Guest Services counter at the entrance or Guest Services counter at entry turnstiles in S.E.A. Aquarium. I think we spent about 3hrs+ in the aquarium, not as crowded as I thought but still there were lotsa kids running around and we need to wait a while to get a close up view of the fishes as there were tourists standing in front of us taking pictures. And as always the case, my photography skills are really bad…wahahaha…together with the low lighting, it is really a challenge… And I didn’t bring my camera, i doubt the digital camera can do much with my skills :p
Took this with his Sony Xperia Z1 – Photo shooting with AR Mode. It’s fun with different themes, such as fairytale, butterfly, dinosaur etc. Since we are in the aquarium, we used the “Dive” theme of course. The items were to big and it covered some parts of the aquarium..
We had some snacks at the Fish & Crab Shack before heading to PS for early dinner at Tim Ho Wan 😀 Surprisingly, the food was quite nice, especially the Chicken Wings. It tasted like the ones we made in our Pub. I will order them again…but it’s $6 for 3pcs and $12.50 for 6pcs of Chicken Wings…
