After looking at JL’s Penguin pics she took in Marina Square, I’ve been urging boyfriend to go so that I can take some cute penguin pictures too…wahahahaha… AND, here we are, on Christmas Day!
Here comes the Penguins!!!
Upon arriving at Marina Square, you may see this big poster, asking shoppers to download the Marina Square mobile app for some AR (Augmented Reality) experience. Of course, I have to download to try since my company is developing something similar too. Well, I managed to snap the smaller signboard:
What is AR?

What’s inside the App?
Uncover the 3D Santa Claus, reindeers, snowmen, etc by selecting the function tab where you are at and choose the icon that corresponds with the AR poster and snap…you will see the animated santa claus, snowmen, etc in your picture…

It is really a fun way of engaging your shoppers. Moreover, many uses Android/iOS phone nowadays. Too bad, I didn’t get to see the Augmented Penguins…it’s getting crowded, boyfriend getting impatient and my phone hanged… URGHHHHH!!!!!
The AR display will end on 5 January 2014, so hurry down…
