Xmas Gathering Part 3 – Dinner Gathering in a Private Kitchen

Xmas Gathering

‘Tis a season to be fatty, la la la la la la la la la…

This is the 3rd Xmas gathering I had so far… Went to boyfriend’s classmates gathering at his friend’s lovely home yesterday. His wife cooked a sumptuous spread for about 13 of us, oh man, it’s really an effort to put everything on the table. Not only that, she made a Swiss Roll log cake and some Marshmallow Pop for desserts.

Mrs is really a good cook. The husband has been posting their meal pictures in facebook regularly, from simple 3-course meal with soup to delicious looking Korean Army Stew… AND HOW CAN THE HUSBAND STAY SO SKINNY AFTER ALL THE YUMMY MEALS!!!! Envious… If it had been me, think I’ve put on 10 over kgs long time ago…ha ha ha… I really hope she will create a cooking blog someday to share the recipes… Shall asked him for some of the recipes (hm…only those I think I can manage…ha ah aha…)

Besides food, I have to share about their lovely home too. It is very cozy and nicely renovated. The husband is a die hard Man U Fan, walking into their house is as if walking into a mini Man U gallery. Walked in from the main door, you will see a round dining table in the middle of the walkway to the living room area. Not much of a choice as the new flats are usually quite small. On the right, they have their brick wall which I loved a lot.. It is a nice background for photo taking sessions. Ha ha ha… They had pictures and framed Man U jerseys on the wall, very nice. They also had a display cabinet full of Marvel Heros and Transformers figurines. The living/dining area looks like a mini Private/Home Kitchen (私房菜館). It will be perfect if there’s a fireplace and snowing outside…imagining…ha ha ha… Mrs is an Interior Designer by profession and Mr is a BDM in the same company, maybe that explains the nice design & concept of their love nest. If you like to know more about their service and contact details, feel free to drop me an email at misslittlepatches@gmail.com

The smiling Santa Claus card made by Mrs, who loves scrapbooking too. She made some scrapbook albums, cards, etc and displayed them in the display cabinet as well. However, if you’re interested to get some, you can pop over to their online store, Hyen to have a look.

Once again, thank you Mr & Mrs for the hospitality and sumptuous spread. Hope you enjoy the housewarming gifts. Looking forward to more tasty food…he he he…
