Rubber duck no longer stays in bath tubs only! Saw some Facebook posts of a HUGE and friendly looking Rubber Duck in Hong Kong! It’s really so cute!

Went googled about it, then realised that it’s Florentijn Hofman’s giant floating “Rubber Duck” had arrived in HK. This 16.5m high rubber duck will be on exhibit at the 1st Hong Kong Maritime Art Exhibition until 9th June, travelling from Victorial Harbour to the Ocean Terminal as well as to the Gallery by the Harbour. There’s also a photo exhibition to trace the travels of this duckie over the years. It should be a cute sight.
About the Rubber Duck Project:
The Rubber Duck knows no frontiers, it doesn’t discriminate people and doesn’t have a political connotation. The friendly, floating Rubber Duck has healing properties: it can relieve mondial tensions as well as define them. The rubber duck is soft, friendly and suitable for all ages!
» Florentijn Hofman, Dutch conceptual artist who created the Rubber Duck.
The giant rubber duck has been waddling and spreading joy around the world since 2007. It went to Hasselt, Osaka, Sydney, St Nazaire, Onomichi, Auckland, Sao Paulo and now in HK.

So envious! Rubber duckie, will you come to Singapore? It should be fun, having it floating around in the beautiful waters of the Marina Bay against the city skyline.
