After much reviewing, we’ve finally decided to go to Privé Café for his Birthday lunch. Reserved a seat via Chope, a portal for you to make instant reservations for Restaurants in their list. They have quite a long list, visit their A-Z listings for a full list. “Chope”, a local slang, means reserve a seat in eating places.

Confirmation ID will be sent to your email. I was thinking it might be more convenient if can send to my mobile phone instead. Besides being able to make reservations, I’m able to view reviews and images as well. Quite user friendly.

We reached at about 230pm. Stood at the reception for a while, where nobody seems to notice us. Finally, we were being brought to our table outside.  As it’s cloudy, hence we couldn’t really at the unsheltered areas where you can take a closer look at the yachts.

Looking through their menu, too many choices for me. They serve all day breakfasts, burgers, pastas, soups, desserts, etc…oh my…  Here’s their full menu. I wanna try Pancakes, Burgers, Chicken & Mushroom pie…oh my…it’s really too many stuffs… After much difficulties in narrowing down my choices, we finally ordered.

Privé’s Signature Mushroom Soup
Nicely blended and creamy, I think it’s slightly salty but bearable for me but he finds it alright.  I had only few mouthfuls, because I couldn’t really take too much dairy stuffs.  He finished every thing.

Simply Privé Burger
Requested for medium well, nice!  Served with fries, Juicy Wagyu beef patty with melted mild cheedar cheese, bacon and garlic mayo.   As usual, i didn’t really touch the cheese :p

The Ultimate Fish & Chips
Served with Fries, tartar sauce and the portion looks big.  It’s nice, but I find that the flour batter is too thick.

Nothing fanciful, simple food with nice environment.  What’s more to ask for :p  It is located on Keppel Island.  We are not driving, and it is just like a 15mins slow walk from the HarbourFront MRT station.  Can’t wait to try their pancake on my next visit!

Went to Vivo City for a walk and movie @ 720pm before he went to his 2nd round of celebration with his brothers…
